A&L Participates in CAFEO 33 Penang 2015 Exhibition
Penang, Malaysia – CAFEO also known as Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization took place from 23th to 25th November 2015, with Malaysia as the 33rd host for CAFEO. Hotel Equatorial, well known for their professionalism in Penang hotel industry received the honor to host the conference. With a total of 1,000 or more participants from various ASEAN countries, CAFEO was a huge success in this year’s conference and exhibition. Conferences and talks were focused on CAFEO 33rd theme – “The Lights to Bytes: ASEAN Engineering Evolution and Future Challenges”, with countries around ASEAN presenting their respective statistics and facts in accordance with the theme.
Acoustic & Lighting System along with her sister company AFS Engineering, took part as an exhibitor showcasing various system and product to the participants. “It was a great opportunity to expand our market not only in Malaysia but in ASEAN countries,” said one of A&L’s personnel. Some of A&L’s product showcased were Cindy’s LED Moving Spot and LED Moving Beam. These lights along with a pair of RCF Evox 8 brought the exhibition area alive. They were the live wire in the exhibition as each speaker were able to reproduce sound effectively without loss in quality. In addition to that, participants were able to witness the Flepcher’s public announcement system in used. Equipped with 2 Inter-M speakers and a conference mic, A&L’s personnel were able to show how the system operates in various situations. Furthermore, the Sennheiser D1 made its appearance in the exhibition as well displaying its capabilities in capturing vocals without any distortion. Throughout the exhibition, the RCF 12 channel Live Pad took control of the audio volume in A&L’s booth. Participants were able to watch how the mixer functioned along with proper explanation by A&L’s Penang sales representative.
AFS Engineering did not miss a mark. They brought the Wisi’s Chameleon System and Hitron’s IP-Matrix Surveillance System. The Wisi’s Chameleon is a modular headend system that requires only one single type of module. They are designed for current and future applications being able to adapt to the transition from analog to digital signals. AFS Engineering representative presented one of Chameleon’s attribute. Using Ethernet networks linked with a television, participants were able to witness an interactive solution suitable for the hotel industry since the system integrates live weather forecast, hotel services and many more with a click of a button. Last but not least, participants of CAFEO who visited A&L’s booth were able to witness Hitron’s IP-Matrix surveillance system first hand. With proper guidance and presentation, they were able to watch how these cameras function and how these footages were stored.
Overall, the exhibition and conference in Penang was a success for both the state and A&L. We were also able to welcome Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Abdul Rahman Abbas, Governor of Penang as he visited our booth.
