31 May 2016, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore – Held annually, Broadcast Asia is one of the most anticipated exhibition by industry players around Asia. Stretch from 31 May to 3 June 2016, the exhibition was held in none other than the majestic iconic Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The exhibition saw a large number of exhibitors from various industry introducing their latest company technology and information sharing sessions.
Acoustic & Lighting System (A&L) who participated in the previous year exhibition took part in this year’s exhibition once again. “It’s great to be back, the exhibition has its potential be it as a place to gain insights on the latest technology or a place to extend our target market,” commented Michelle A&L’s Business Development Assistant Manager. “Our main highlight product for this year Broadcast Asia Exhibition would definitely be our d3 media mapping technology products and also BlackTrax tracking devices,” continued Michelle.
A&L brought 1 unit of d3’s 4x4pro and a unit of 2x2plus for the exhibition. “We needed these to configure our projection to display our design on our booth wall,” commented Malcolm, A&L’s d3 product specialist. 12 units of BlackTrax were brought in to the exhibition to incorporate with the d3 mapping system. Aside from these, A&L also displayed a variety of brands such as Clay Paky, Solid State Logic (SSL), ETC, Denon and more. One of the highlights for A&L booth was none other than the demonstration by William McDaniel BlackTrax’s Product Specialist. Incorporating BlackTrax Tracking devices and Clay Paky Scenius together, William displayed a significant demonstration to the crowd. Together with the BlackTrax, the Scenius were able to track and follows William’s movement inch by inch. Audience were able to witness how BlackTrax could be the future for the broadcast industry. Additionally, Malcolm A&L’s d3 product specialist took the opportunity in merging BlackTrax technology with d3 system allowing him to do a projection on his body. Using the BlackTrax tracking device along with the d3 and Panasonic projectors, he is able to create various projection mapping onto his chest such as a heart and A&L’s Logo.
Throughout the four days of exhibiting, A&L booth receive much attention from the audience as they displayed their products. Dominic Koh SSL Asia’s Product & Marketing Manager was able to share his knowledge with SSL L500 Plus, SSL System T and SSL C10 HD PLUS. “It is a significant event for us as it provide our company much exposure needed in the broadcast industry,” commented Rain, A&L’s Marketing Coordinator and Event Planner.
