A Launch to Remember: The Clay Paky QWO 800

Singapore – Jointly organized by Clay Paky and Acoustic & Lighting System Pte. Ltd. on June 20, 2012, the official launch of the latest innovation from Clay Paky – The Alpha Spot QWO 800 was greeted warmly by the lighting experts, installers and industry players from the region. The-soon-to-be benchmark of lighting industry received its fair share of spotlight when it was put to display via an exciting demonstration session to the people present that day.

Held in Mohamed Sultan Road, Singapore; the event witnessed the merging between the  innovativeness that has long been associated with Clay Paky  with a blend of latest technology in the form of MSR Platinum lamp – to form the QWO 800. This is, of course, to raise the standard and to answer the call for a better lighting technology for the industry. Conducted by Clay Paky’s Alberico D’Amato and Gianluca Breda, the launch shed lights – via a detailed product presentation and an interactive demonstration – on the speed, functionality, brightness, and the portability of this new luminaire.

D’Amato gave his two-cents on the system, “The Alpha Spot QWO 800 is more than just another new product from Clay Paky. It actually represents another standard in the luminaire technology. With the latest MSR Platinum lamp – an 800W light source that produces an intense sparking light, the QWO 800 is even brighter than the older 1200W lamps. It is also equipped, additionally, with a Dyna-Cue-Creator function that not only speeds up programming, but automatically synchronizes effects in a way that would be very complex to a manual programming!”

The 4-hour event came to a conclusion at 5 pm.
