Making A Mark at The Houses of Worship Technologies Asia 2012
The 6th Houses of Worship Technologies Asia tradeshow in Marina Bay Sands was greeted enthusiastically by a panel of industry experts on houses of worship that included church members, system integrators and consultants from local or abroad. Acoustic & Lighting System Pte. Ltd. (A&L) brought the atmosphere of the three-day event to another level of excitement with some of its line-up of internationally recognized systems.
According to A&L’s General Manger, Mr. Desmond Tan, “For tradeshows of this scale, it’s has been a non-spoken A&L tradition to bring out some of the best systems we have – our top guns, as you may call it. In the name of making the right impression, we are not afraid of going a tad above our peers. The Houses of Worship Technologies Asia, with its credibility and patronage, is certainly no exception. The top-of-the-line Clay Paky moving head and spot, RCF D-line speakers and line-array, ARRI Fresnel broadcasting lighting and Leviton lighting and energy solution were all deployed to their finest perfection – and I must say, the crowds seemed to agree as well.”
Piquing the interests of participants was the triple threat – Clay Paky Spot, RCF D-line and line-array, and ARRI Fresnel. Participants could be seen admiring the speed and sharp clarity of the moving head, as well as enquiring the technical details of the RCF D-line and line arrays. ARRI certainly didn’t lose out much as church members were seen particularly interested in the suitability of its application in the church environment.
Keeping to the requirements of the event, all systems introduced by A&L were tailored-fit to satisfy the demands and applications of houses of worship. According to the organizer, this event has the aim of communicating and facilitating better worship technology systems to improve and enhance the operations of the houses of worship.
