WISI & Taiden Seminar – The New Age of Conference System & SMATV Solutions
Sabah, Malaysia – Following the well received response from the previous WISI and Taiden Seminars held in KL, Acoustic & Lighting System (A&L) saw the opportunity to showcase these 2 gems once again, this time, at Kota Kinabalu – the beautiful city in East Malaysia.
The seminar was held at the Promenade Hotel. The audiences were made up of Hoteliers, Consultants and Engineers across the industry. The seminar was split into 2 sessions, with the morning session focusing on WISI Chameleon SMATV System – the digital headend solutions which can run via existing coaxial infrastructure or via IP. This product perfectly captures the needs of many users in view of the current upgrading of Free-to Air channels to a fully digital platform, an initiative taken by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
Mr. Vijay Saravanan, the head of RF & Optical department of A.F.S. Engineering presented the WISI session, together with his engineer, Mr. Shaun Ting. They covered the applications, technical aspects, designs and reliability of the WISI Chameleon SMATV system. The audiences were escorted to a demo room to witness and experience the picture quality of channels pumped through the WISI Chameleon headend. They were also brought to the server room to view the physical headend.
The afternoon session which features Taiden products, was presented by Ms. Ong Syiao Wei, the Product Development Engineer from A.F.S. Engineering. Taiden is a globally recognized brand for its top-notch congress system which are installed in the World Bank, the United Nation, among others. Their comprehensive congress system is capable of performing voting, simultaneous interpretation, video tracking system, conference audio recording and playback, video conferencing.
Products featured include the Taiden new launched product – HCS-3900 Series, Economical Digital Conference System, HCS-4100 Series – Fully Digital Conference System, HCS-5300 Series – Digital Infrared Wireless Conference System and their highest developed solution for high level meeting – HCS-8300 Series, New Generation Paperless Multimedia Conference System.
Both sessions saw good tractions with the audiences with many questions being thrown to our presenters. Mr. Terry Tang, the Branch Manager of A&L Sabah shares, “We are happy to receive the good support from the Promenade Hotel to set up a successful and convincing seminar. This seminar marks another milestone that our proposal is able to solve the current issues faced by our customers in upgrading their network to support HD viewing.
